Belmont Young Journalists, Nella and Harriet, report on our Star of the Term assembly held this afternoon, where we celebrated pupils in each class who have completed outstanding work and made excellent progress this term:
This afternoon, Mr Allsopp was very pleased to award certificates to:
Daisy (Reindeer Class) – for her focus and many achievements in her learning this term.
Ivy (Fallow Class) – for her outstanding attitude to learning. She has gone from strength to strength this term.
Theo (Elk Class) – for truly shining in his learning, particularly in art. He has demonstrated outstanding creativity and an excellent eye for detail, showing enthusiasm and pride in his work.
Freddie (Impala Class) – for the outstanding effort and skill he consistently demonstrates in his writing.
Lillie-Grace (Barasingha Class) – for her fantastic progress in English. She is a passionate and dedicated reader, and has used her brilliant vocabulary, understanding of grammar, and knowledge of key language techniques to produce some truly impressive work.
Ruby (Sambar Class) – for her hard work and the progress she has made during Maths lessons this term
Ruby (Tarauca Class) – for demonstrating a huge boost in her enthusiasm and confidence in all of her subjects.
We also celebrated children in each class who have made outstanding progress and effort in Maths, Reading, Writing and Science this term. We also congratulated the children who were awarded certificates for their exemplary conduct in school.
