The last Friday in September is National Teaching Assistants' Day, dedicated to acknowledging the extensive and invaluable support teaching assistants provide to teachers and pupils. Today, we held a special assembly to say a big thank you to all of our support staff for the fabulous work they do in school every day. As well as providing fantastic support to teachers, our support staff make a tremendous contribution in the education and care of all of our pupils, often going above and beyond in their duties.
Mr Allsopp was also very pleased today to present long service awards and gifts to four members of staff who have made such a positive difference to our children and the school over the years: to Mrs Bell for 30 years and to Miss Rickett,, Miss Allen and Mrs McCormack for 20 years.
Finally, we had the opportunity today to give our very best wishes to Miss Allen as she goes onto maternity leave. We hope to bring you more news in the not too distant future!
