As we arrive at the final day of the school term, it gives us an opportunity to reflect upon what a busy year it has been! This past week has been no exception, with not only the fabulous Year 6 - Taruca Class production of School of Pop and the Belmont Sports Personality Awards evening but also the arrival of the ice cream van as part of the Year 2 - Elk Class beach day yesterday!
This morning, we celebrated our fabulous Year 6 who are leaving us today and this afternoon we gathered in the hall to say farewell to valued members of our staff team who are moving on to pastures new.
On behalf of all of us at Belmont, Mr Allsopp gave his thanks and best wishes to three members of our support staff: Mrs Oliveira, Mrs James and Miss Mullarky and to our Inspire+ Apprentice, Mr Kyberd. They have all had a huge impact upon our children's learning. We are so sad to see them leave but looking forward to hearing about their exciting adventures in the future.
Finally, Mr Allsopp led the thanks and farewells to teachers, Mrs Eggleston and Mrs Elton who have both taught and inspired so many children over the last years. We are very grateful for their wealth of knowledge, commitment, support and dedication and we will miss them greatly. We wish them both great success and happiness in the years ahead.
