The Linkage Sensory Library

Sensory equipment can be expensive, many people who borrow from the Linkage Sensory library find it really useful to be able to try things out to see if they work for them rather than risk wasting money on something that might not work. Families are welcome to borrow more than once, so they can try a range of things to find out what is effective for the person you care for.

The catalogue below contains a list of the items in the library that families are able to borrow. This is a free service and allows a loan period of 6 weeks from drop off. The Sensory Library team ask that at the end of the 6 weeks loan, the evaluation form is completed (they can provide it via email or as a paper copy). This information becomes part of their reporting to the National Lottery who kindly fund this project. The information given to them does not identify anyone.

The Sensory Library team will arrange drop off and collection of the items at a place that is suitable for families - be this at school or a private address. They ask that no more than 4 items are requested at the same time, this enables there to be plenty of stock for others wishing to use this service.

If you would like to discuss borrowing some items from the Sensory Library, please contact Mrs Andrea McCormack on 01476 567939 or email Andrea.McCormack@belmont.lincs.sch.uk
