Celebrating Achievement

In our special Belmont Winners Wednesday assembly earlier this week, our Dojo House Champions were Ospreys, with a score of 168, with Sparrowhawks closely behind on 161.

The Reading Competition is in full swing for the new term, the leaders this week being Barasingha Class - Year 4 who had a word count of 489,234. A fabulous total - we can't wait to see who will be in first place next week.

Three awards were presented in each class in our Star Achiever celebration this afternoon, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be Respectful: Be Responsible and Be Ready to Learn. The children who excelled this week are:

  • EYFS & KS1: Dalton, James, Archie, Freddie, Bailey, Rosalie, Billy, Violet and James
  • KS2: Elizabeth, Reggie, Lewis, Jacob, Carter L, Matilda, Annabelle, Jim, Louie, Aleisha, Dorothy and Luna.

The class with the highest attendance for week-ending 27 March 2026 was Impala - Year 3 with a very impressive 100%! A great achievement.

Well done everyone!
