Year 3 - Impala Class had an excellent time at Flag Fen!  During the day we learnt lots about the houses of the Bronze and Iron Ages and were even able to experience the life of a hunter! We also experimented with Stone Age art, mixing berries, chalk, charcoal and water to create our paint for the rocks and created our own clay pots. We finished our day looking at some artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Iron Age and the children then tried to work out which era they were from! 

The children represented the school brilliantly, showing all of our Pocket Principles at all times. Their recall of facts and information from our history learning journey blew me away at times and impressed the staff at Flag Fen, who said they were an excellent group and they loved working with them throughout the day.
