As you know, we have two special assemblies each week in school - Belmont Winners Wednesdays and Star Achievers. Every Wednesday, we congratulate our fantastic readers and celebrate our Dojo House Champions. The House names have changed this year to Sparrowhawks, Red Kites, Kestrels and Ospreys and earlier this week the first winners were Ospreys with a fabulous 165 points!

Our Star Achiever celebration now takes place on a Friday afternoon, with parents and carers invited to attend. Three awards are presented in each class, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be Respectful: Be Responsible and Be Ready to Learn. The children who excelled last week are:

• KS1: Lennie, Violet, Theo P, Nelly-Flo, Elizabeth and Charlotte
• KS2: Archer, Eliza, Arthur Ted, Olympia-Adlea, Zaiden, Luna, Yashika, Ronnie, Emily, Isla and Freddie

Today, the awards were given to:

• KS1: Billy, Erelah-Fleur, Emily J, Noah-James, Ava and Sienna
• KS2: Archer, Eliza, Carter L, Jake, Harry, Tom, Smarika, William and Eva

The first winner for the highest attendance is Year 6 - Taruca Class with an impressive 100% for week-ending 13 September! What a great start to the year!
