Our Year 3/4 cross country team battled the heat to compete in the annual cross country event held at the Meres stadium on Thursday. With over 100 children taking part, all of our team did a fantastic job and showed great determination and resilience to keep going and do the best they could!

I set the Year 4s who took part last year a challenge to improve on their placing from 2024 and they all did! We also had four Year 3s and five Year 4s representing the school in a competition for the first time and they all did great!

Overall, we had some fantastic runs, with 3 top 10 finishes! One of these being a first in the girls race - our Year 3 winner was victorious by quite a distance - she looked like she could do another lap! 🥇
