  • Looking Ahead To Christmas!

Thu 30 Nov 2023 School Office

We have lots of exciting events and activities planned for the coming weeks, including a fabulous Christmas production of 'The Twinkly Nativity’' by the children in Reindeer, Fallow and Elk classes and our Christmas Fayre! A flyer has been sent to parents/carers via ParentMail with all the details of what will be a very busy December! A copy can be downloaded HERE.

You can also find the latest information on the Belmont Calendar here on the website.

    Subscribe To The School Calendar

You can subscribe to events from the school calendar so that they download into your own personal calendar on your mobile phone, tablet or computer. It's a great way to keep track of all the events happening in school.

All you need to do is visit the Calendar on our website and click the link called ‘Link the calendar events to your personal calendar’. You can then choose from three options: to add to your default calendar (for example, on an iPhone it will go to the iPhone calendar); to add it to your Google calendar; or input it to your calendar programme of choice.

Please note that although the calendar updates instantly, it may take up to 24 hours for new events to show in your personal calendar depending on which type of calendar you are using.

    Things to know:

    • If the school edits the calendar, the updates will appear automatically in your calendar (the time that this takes to happen will depend on your calendar programme).
    • You cannot edit the events in the school calendar.
    • All events will pull through in one colour only, not the colours set by the school.
    • You can name the calendar and choose how often to receive updates.
    • You can unsubscribe via your own calendar at any time.

We hope you will find this feature useful. If you have any comments or concerns please contact the school office.

    Thank you

  • Inappropriate Parking

Thu 30 Nov 2023 Mr Allsopp, Headteacher

We are continuing to receive many complaints regarding parking at the beginning and end of the day, especially on the zig zags and double yellow lines right up to the car park exit.

We do understand that this is a small number of parents/carers.

This is severely affecting other drivers who are trying to exit the car park due to lack of visibility, this is posing a risk to our children, parents and staff.

We have reported this to Lincolnshire County Council this morning and this is now being investigated by the enforcement team. Penalty Charge Notices may be issued to vehicles in breach of parking regulations.

Please park in the local area and walk round to school if you are unable to park in line with parking restrictions.

    Many thanks for your support.

    Mr Allsopp, Headteacher

Our thanks go to Mrs Bowskill, the Friends of Queen Elizabeth Park and SKDC for arranging this event.

  • Anti-bullying Week - Odd Socks Day

Thu 23 Nov 2023 Mrs Shales

We certainly made some noise about bullying during the recent Anti-bullying Week! The focus this year was to know that we can all make a difference and take a stand against bullying; that we might not always agree with each other but we can show respect and unity.

We began the week with Odd Socks Day; an opportunity for us all to express ourselves and celebrate our individuality and what makes us all unique. With no pressure to wear the latest fashion or buy expensive costumes all that was needed was to wear odd socks! During the week, children were able to discuss what bullying means, how banter can turn into something more hurtful and what we can all do to stop bullying behaviour.

You can find out more about Anti-bullying Week and Odd Socks Day by going to: https://anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/anti-bullying-week-2023-make-noise-about-bullying
